R.I.P. ‘Big Society’. (Evelyn Arslan)

Some people are not self-serving and greedy, like politicians and bankers. They chose a job/career that allowed them to help others: namely the disadvantaged in our society.

Often a lower wage-packet but compensated for by a ‘feel good’ factor.

MPs seem to find it impossible to give up their obscene ‘perks’, so how did Dave Cameron expect councillors to behave any differently?

Did he expect executive salaries and the trappings of office to be trimmed back?

Did he think the increased layers of administration would be pared away? Would ‘waste’ be wipedout first and foremost?

In fact, the very people who were struggling to heal our fragmented society are the ones who are now facing the cuts! Funding gone; jobs lost; a wealth of personal contacts and vast experience lost at a stroke!

The Elderly; the Homeless; the Lonely and Depressed; theAbused; the Infirm; all the weaker links in our society are losing what little support theyonce had.

Day Centres closing; Shelters no longer affordable; homes for the elderly no longer viable.

Is this what it is coming to?

According to Ancient Greek Philosophers a Civilised Country is judged by its commitment to the weakest members of its society. And they were right!

But are Councils taking these decisions for political motives rather than economical considerations?

Labour – to make the government more unpopular?

Conservative- to herald in more privatisation?

Lib Dems- to offer lip-service to the fact that they ‘care’ as long as they can remain in office?

What a shambles? Whilst good, genuine people despair as their jobs go at a time when their skills are needed more than ever.

Sad but true -

Please forward this and speak about it to others. The so-called Cuts ignore the vast cost of the EU and International Aid. Nothing short of criminal.

How angry do people have to get? - Read this and weep!

HOW TRUE

We're "broke" and can't help: -
Our own Senior Citizens,
Our own deserving Troops,
Our Orphans,
And the Homeless
etc . . . etc. . . etc. . .

In the last month alone we have provided aid to: -

Haiti - again!,
Chile, Turkey, Greece, Pakistan - again. . . amongst others.

While, here, at home:
Our pensioners are living on a 'fixed income'.
Receive no aid, or get any breaks, while our Government and religious organizations pour
Hundreds of Millions of ££££££'s
And Tons of Food . . . ALL to Foreign Countries!

We have thousands of adoptable children who are shoved aside . . .

WHY . . . . To make room for the adoption of foreign orphans!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Britain - a country where we have: -
Homeless without shelter,
Children and adults going to bed hungry,
Elderly going without 'needed' medication,

The mentally ill without treatment -etc,etc.
YET...................

They are requesting donations for the people of Pakistan . . .

A country that trains British Muslim extremists how to BOMB  and KILL us!!!!
A country that ploughs millions into its nuclear programme!!!
A country with hundreds of millionaires who do sod all for THEIR own countrymen!!!.
The same country that has passed laws so these rich people don't pay ANY taxes!!!
The same country where most of the aid sent DOES NOT reach the ones in need!!!

....and we have - Yet AGAIN . .
TV stations spouting WE are letting these people down!!!
Whilst OUR ships And OUR planes (laughably some are Military ones)
All lined up to fly and crammed full with:
Our food . .
Our Bottled Water!!! . .
Our New Tents . .
Our New Clothes . . .
Our New Bedding . . .

OUR NHS Doctors  and Nurses
And OUR medical supplies . .
Whilst UK cancer patients are denied life saving drugs!!!
And some of our OWN - from children to pensioners - go to bed hungry!!!
Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave 'US' the same support they give to other countries.

Sad isn't it?

99% of people won't have the guts to forward this.

We cannot afford to support the weakest and poorest of our society, and yet we can afford to write off, 61,000 illegal immigrants and the cost of keeping them.

We can afford to pay accommodation, child allowance, education, health care, pensions and other benefits to millions of immigrants who have not made any financial contribution or paid any taxes into our economy.

While those who have paid compulsory NHI payments and taxes every week of their working lives, get nothing and even the homes they spent thirty-years buying are stolen from them by the State, should they need care in their old age.

We can afford to bail out our Banks who gambled us into recession, with £billions of pounds in loans, and who repay us by robbing everyone of their customers. They are racketeers without scruple or conscience.

We can afford to spend £200 billion plus on combating non-existent global warming on the pretext of anthropogenic CO2, one thirty-third of the 4% of CO2 in the atmosphere, being responsible for global warming. Al Gore's laughing all the way to the Bank . . . probably to buy it out of the profits he's made out of Cap & Trade.

We have a cabal of lying, thieving politicians, Conservative, Labour and Liberal who conspire together to rape the United Kingdom, before handing over what is left to the EU Police State.

It's enough to make one dream of Justice, and of setting up guillotines in Trafalgar Square.
